What to expect on Sunday
Worship is at 10:00 AM. Doors open at 9:30 with coffee in the lobby. The service runs about 65 minutes — gathering songs, scripture, a thoughtful sermon, communion the first Sunday of the month, and a closing hymn.
You don’t need to know the songs, the prayers, or anyone’s name. The bulletin walks you through what’s happening. People will be friendly without being pushy. If you’d rather slip in and slip out, that’s fine too.
What to wear
Whatever you’re comfortable in. Some people dress up; most don’t. Jeans and a sweatshirt are common. So is a button-down. We have not had a dress code in a long time, and we are not starting one now.
Bringing kids
Children are welcome in worship from start to finish. Around the time of the Children’s Message (about 15 minutes in), kids K–6 may step out for age-appropriate Bible exploration and return for the closing hymn. Nursery is available downstairs for ages 0–3.
Our check-in system uses matching pickup tags — no one leaves with a child who isn’t theirs. Kids are with at least two background-checked leaders at all times.
Common questions
Where do I park?
First-time visitor spots are marked by the front entrance. On a rainy Sunday, a volunteer will walk you in with an umbrella. (Yes, really.)
Do I have to give money?
No. The offering plate is passed during the service, but visitors are not expected to give. We mean that.
Will someone make me stand up and introduce myself?
Absolutely not. Nobody gets called out. You are welcome to stay anonymous as long as you like.
What if I have questions about faith?
After the service, our pastor or one of our deacons would be glad to grab coffee with you. No agenda — just a real conversation about whatever you’re thinking about.
Is the church accessible?
Yes. Step-free entrance through the side door, hearing assistance available, large-print bulletins by request.
